What is a Galbi?

Galbi is a Typical Korean Lunch. It literally means ribs of beef. Or more specifically grilled ribs. This happens to be the main dish of a lunch. The meat is cooked on a griddle or grill. It is cooked on the lunch tables itself, and hence you get to try it first hand. Something like a fondue.

There are other side dishes known as Banchan for a lunch. This could be like salads, sprouted beans or dried leaves of certain plants. Usually people sit on the floor for a galbi with short stools for the luch tables. A Once in a lifetime fine experience.
